Description of the Prophet (CD)

The Prophet of Allah, Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam. How can one begin to understand the one whom Allah describes in the Quran as "A Rahma to the entire world"? There is a ruling which states that that which can not be grasped in its entity should also not be left alone. Meaning, just because words are not enough to describe something, one should not stop trying to understand it. Keeping this in mind, Sh. Yasir Qadhi sheds light on various aspects of the Prophet's characteristics and mannerisms in an effort to bring justice to the description of this Noble Prophet of Allah.

About Yasir Qadhi

The speaker, Yasir Qadhi, was born in Houston, TX. After completing a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, he left to study Islam at the Islamic University of Madinah. There, he finished his second Bachelors degree, specializing in the sciences of Hadeeth, and then went on to complete a Masters from the same University, specializing in Islamic Theology (?aqeedah). Presently he is completing a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from Yale University. He has authored numerous works, including Riyaa: Hidden Shirk; An Introduction to the Sciences of the Quran; A Critical Analysis of Shirk; and Du?aa: Weapon of the Believer (upon which this series of audio lectures is based). He has ijaazahs in various reciations of the Quran, and in the books of hadeeth.
