1) How do I use the shopping cart?
Here are the Instructions on how to order using the shopping cart:

1) To buy any book just go to the book page and you will see this icon or button saying "Add one to basket." Click it once and wait for the page to return. You will see the Quantity in Basket has changed to 1 and the basket on the left side of the page displays the book you just added.
2) To increase the quantity of the product you want to order go through step #1 or click the "View Cart " button from the top of the page. From the basket page you may increase/decrease the quantity of the product as well as delete the item from your cart.
3) After you are ready to order press the "Checkout" button on the top of the page.
4) Before you order (or even start shopping) you should log in to the store by click the "sign in" link on the top left of the page. You will be asked to log in and create your account when you checkout.
5) Just follow the steps and print the invoice for your records after you are completed.

2) What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and mailed in check/money order denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Bounced checks are sent directly to the collecting agency by our financial institution, for which we are not responsible. Charge for a bounced check: $25.00

3) Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
Yes, shopping at Dar-us-Salam is safe. We understand you may have concerns about using your credit card to make purchases online. We pledge to keep this information secure. By utilizing Secure Socket Layers (SSL), encryption technology, we are able to keep your personal information safe. All your ordering information -- including your name, address, and credit card number -- is encrypted using a secure server for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system. For more info please read our Privacy Policy.

If you feel more comfortable, you can always call in your credit card after you have fully submitted your order at 713-722-0419.

4) I need a specific book, would you happen to have it?
You can search the book name from any page on Dar-us-Salam's website. All of the books we have are listed on this homepage excluding a few others which we have for local sales.

5) What are your Dawah discount rates?
We offer the following discount rates for Dawah organizations (for Masjids, Islamic Schools, libraries, or free distribution) as follows:

You must mention the proof for your organization in the special instruction section to get discount.
* Some non-Dar-us-Salam/Online Exclusive items may not qualify for this discount.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are a previous customer, you MUST NOT LOGIN to your account until after you have added everything to the cart to avoid the customer rewards program. If you have already logged in, you must log out and then add products at their normal prices. You will get the discount by entering the coupon code at checkout.

6) How can I know the shipping & handling charge before checkout?
To find the shipping rates before checkout add the products you need to the cart. There is a table on the bottom of the Shopping Cart page which has the link "Calculate Shipping" (your cart must have $5 worth of products before the link appears). Click on the link and enter the requested information and click update. It will show you all the available methods that your order can be shipped. You can do this any time during your shopping.

7) How long does it take to get my order delivered and what if I don't receive it?
All orders are shipped within 24 hours (after payment is received). Shipping time depending on which shipping method is used and where it's shipped to. You can see the shipping times from the Shipping & Returns page. If you don't receive order in time, email Sales from the Contact Form we will inquire about it.
